Got a DTAC simcard at the airport

I bought a simcard for use during this trip and it is a DTAC.

I tested the download/upload speed more or less directly and

it is good.

 ... and the next day I tested internet speed at the hotel and it sucks big time look at these testvalues I got from my test ... WOW so sick = BAD.

Me so happy ...

because today is the day ... that I will travel to Thailand woooooohoooo!!!!

Yes in about 2 hours I will be packing the car and go park it at a friends place and then be picked up there by another friend and then we travel to Arlanda airport for our flight to Bangkok, Thailand.

At Arlanda airport will we meet up with a couple of other friends as we are going with the same flight so there will be a 'party' on the plane ... well no party ;-)

Last suitcase packing ..

Yes tonight I will do my last packing or perhaps I do some as well tomorrow morning as we will leave about 10 AM.

Packing clothes is no issue just get some stuff to use in the heat, you can always buy new cheap stuff in Thailand so it is not a problem. There are so many shops and most of them actually sell the same cheap stuff, clothes, souvenirs, gems, crap, hats, sunglasses, more crap and also some more crap :-) 

The problem I have is that I like to take photos and do videos so all my camera gear must be in order so I do not forget any technical stuff, I have forgotten so much photogear that I am now paranoid about it.

I leave on friday and maybe on Saturday or Sunday

 .... I will be at Talay bar and my friends place ...really longing to be there again.

So I got a mail from TRIPIT, I love this app it takes care of your trip information and gives you alerts when you near to an event. Now the mail contained something I was not expecting but how cool isn't to get this kind of information.

Yet another 4 hotelnights booked

Ao Nang Nagapura Resort is booked for 4 nights and it is nearby all other friends during these days/nights so it will be easy to get together for any trips, lunch, dinner, 'beaching', ...

I have stayed at hotels on this street before so I know the area so that will not be any issue but I haven't stayed at this hotel before so I really hope I haven't booked something crappy???

Reviews are OK anyways so I'm pretty sure it can be a fine stay.

I have one more week after this and it is not planned yet.

Ao Nang Nagapura Resort

Now it is getting really close to my/our vacation and the celebration party of being almost 50 years young ;-)

I just can not wait to go on this trip with so many friends and also meet with Thai friends as well.
